If the client has paid for your content, they own it. If the client has not paid for your content, it remains your property. Any content that has been approved in Zerys and appears in your Approved folder is scheduled for payment. You have relinquished ownership of that content and may not use it for any purpose. Any content that is in your Declined or Missed Deadline folder, or that is pending in your account and not approved, is owned by you. Regarding declined content: writers are not paid for declined content. The declined content remains in your Declined folder and is permanently accessible to you, to use for whatever purpose you choose. You have full exclusive rights to rejected content and the client cannot use it or have access to it. When a piece of content you were writing is cancelled before it is completed and submitted to the client, you, the writer, retain full ownership and copyright of the content. The Zerys Terms of Service also prohibits disclosing the identities of any of your clients here; so any mentions of the client's name, business, products, etc. must be removed before publishing or using the content for other purposes.
