Clients will often request links, and sometimes adding links to sources improves the quality and authority of your content. The Zerys work screen has a button to add hyperlinks — it’s the chainlink icon in the tools above the content box.
First highlight the word(s) in your text that should be linked. This is called the “anchor text.” Then click the link button. A small pop-up window will appear where you can paste in the URL.
Sometimes clients will ask for links to open in a new window. To do that, use the link button and then click on the tab for “Target.” There you can select New Window as the default option for the link.
You might also see instructions that ask for “internal links” or “external links.” This just means a link on the client’s website (internal) or to another site (external). This does not affect how you add the hyperlink, it just means what type of web page you are linking to.
