Sometimes you might receive an email notification about new jobs available, but then the jobs are not listed on the job board when you check for them — even just moments after you received the email.
This is because jobs often get claimed very quickly. Most jobs are posted to dozens of writers or more. The daily or hourly email notifications you receive tell you that jobs have recently been posted — however, once the jobs have been posted they are immediately available to be claimed. Another writer has simply found the job and claimed it before you.
In some rare cases, it could also be that the client has canceled the order or chosen to direct assign it instead of posting it to the job board.
If you would prefer to not receive email notifications about available jobs, please go to Settings > Email Notification Preferences and turn them off. Do not mark these messages as spam, since this could interfere with your ability to receive important emails like client messages or direct assignment notifications.
